My wonderful Parisians cousins, Barbara and Rene included me in a walk in the French countryside on Saturday. Upon my arrival at the Gare de Lyon, they whisked me away to the charming town of Giverny, made famous by Claude Monet. We were blessed with warm weather and sunshine. There weren’t too many tourists so photographing the small streets and charming gardens was easy. This is definitely the time of year to spend an afternoon in Giverny.

Thank you. Monet had a lot more talent than me. But the village is so charming. I didn’t get into the Monet property. I was able to see a Degas exhibit at the museum. There were paintings there that I have never seen so that was fun.

I am so glad that I was able to do that for you. I adore France and even though I live here 5 months of the year, I need to do more traveling and see more of the countryside.
