It’s great to be back in France. “They”closed the road in front of our Mas. It is wonderful to have less noise or should I say, no noise. But it also means that we have to go the long way around to get to the village.
There is an aqueduct about 1 km up the road, to the left of our house. Apparently the aqueduct is leaking and needs to be repaired. The water in the aqueduct is for the farmers in the area. The repairs are supposed to be finished by next weekend but I don’t see how this is possible. It is a big job.
Last Sunday, Niko and Robin decided that a family bike ride would be fun. Their children are 4 and 5 and since the road would have very few if any cars this activity would be great. As you can imagine, everyone had a great time. I drove the support car in case the children got tired. Juliette must of ridden at least 5 km and Olivier only needed a bit of a push up the road on the way home.We made it home just before the Mistral wind started to blow.
