My husband, Jacques and I arrive in France in the fall to pick olives and have them made into olive oil. Our farm has about 700 trees and every year we invite friends to help us harvest our olives. We started picking on Monday. It rained this morning so we only got in a half day today. We take the olives to the press in the afternoon about 5 pm. Here is the end result. Actually ours looks a bit nicer when it is in a bottle or a can with the label.
