Most Sundays, I meet up with my Mom and my eldest son, Laurent and his family for lunch. Today’s lunch was at Gott’s at the Town & Country Village in Palo Alto. They are known for their hamburgers, so I had the Ahi poke. It was excellent.
We are finally getting some rain but that is not stopping people from going out. The shopping center was busy with people shopping, having coffee and most of the restaurants were full. We had to wait for about 20 minutes before we got a table.

Ah Peets, my favorite coffee shop.
I was online the other day and noted a bakery there called Douce France. People on Yelp seemed to like their croissants, banana nutella crepes, and the chocolate croissants. Have you been there?

Yes, I’ve been to Douce France. They also make good sandwiches. I think that restaurant/bakery has been there for 25+ years. They also get the foot traffic from the high school kids. Palo Alto High is across the street and Stanford university is on the other corner across the street.
