This is the book to read.  No, I’m not related to this author.  I don’t know her but I did just order her second book.  (Apparently she is writing her third book.)

Still Alice is about a 50 year old woman with early–onset Alzheimer’s disease.  Alice is a brilliant woman and a respected Harvard professor.  Not only do you follow Alice’s journey with the progression of her disease but you also follow her family’s journey.  I found the reactions of Alice’s family both disturbing and comforting.

Really, with so many people around us finding themselves in the situation of having Alzheimer’s disease or having a loved one with the disease, this book will touch you.
